5/24/2002 - 1JZ Strip and Clean

The real work begins. All the accessories (ps pump, ac compressor, alternator) have been removed from the engine. The entire intake manifold and wiring harness have also been removed so that I can install the injectors. The fuel rails mount differently and the spacing is different.

Everything that is not electronic has been cleaned. Much of it will get powder coated in a week or 2. I also removed the oil pan and pounded out a dent it received while being moved about.

I began to try to pull the front valence to get the power steering cooler line that goes with the (sold) HKS intercooler out of the car. This is not as trivial as I though it would be. It will require more work tomorrow.
