2/6/2004 - Hard Mounted Front Cross-member
Part of the suspension upgrades I'm doing is to remove all compliance from the front of the car. The front cross member is mounted on rubber bushing. The cross member car "float" up and down, which leads to suspension changes, and also means the cross member gets no structural help from the front of the unibody and vice versa. To fix this, I have had steel bushings cut and welded in. It won't move anymore. If your in Houston and want this done, send me an email and I'll tell you who to talk to.
