Rock Run Gallery - Aug 1999

Here are the pictures I took on the trip. I finally dug them up and scanned them. Unfortunately, I'm not a very diligent photographer, so I didn't get pictures of a lot of stuff, nor did I write down which vehicles belonged to who. Thanks to Robert for taking the pictures while the car was in motion.

Here we all are meeting before the drive, checking out one of the two wonderfully maintained MKIIs. These guys have done a great job on their cars. Here is the caravan. It was short, but the drive was nice once we had passed Fredericksburg. That's Enchanted Rock in the center of the picture. It is much bigger than it looks.

Here are the cars that were at the rock right after we arrived. Mine is the second from the right, the only one with a bra. We left one MKIII in Fredericksburg with cooling problems (it was 100+ that day). Another rocket of a MKIII showed up later from San Antonio. Here are some of us hanging out in the only shade on top of the rock. All in all, I had a great time. It was very hot, but we and most of our cars made it.
